Post-doctoral and graduate student positions are available for highly motivated, hard-working candidates. We employ collaborative and multidisciplinary approaches to investigate mechanistic basis of cancer epigenetics, in particular chromatin modifications that are essential for gene regulation and cell development. The project will involve structural and dynamic characterization of macromolecular complexes involved in epigenetic programming, using combined biochemical approaches, including X-ray crystallography, cryo-EM, Single-molecule FRET and NMR spectroscopy. Applicants should hold a recent PhD degree and have significant experience in molecular cloning, protein production and protein biochemistry. Additional background in cryo-EM or microscopic imaging is considered a plus. Interested applicants should send curriculum vitae and contact information of 2-3 references to Dr. Jikui Song.
